Fresh Scones

 


5 cups of flour


5 teaspoons of baking powder


Pinch of salt


2 cups of amasi


1 tablespoon of lemon essence


5 large eggs


500g of butter


1/2 of sugar


1 cup of ultramel


Method


In a large bowl beat the eggs add amasi sugar ultramel lemon essence and the butter mix well


In another bowl mix the flour salt baking powder


Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients an mix NB.make sure your dough is not too wet


Knead the dough on a well floured surface and roll out



 

Cut it into equal sizes brush with an egg or milk an bake for 25 minutes on 180° or until they’re well cooked
